IVE materials are developed for English-speaking students and American Heart Association Instructors outside the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. IVE training materials are adapted to accommodate cultural norms, administrative concerns, availability of treatments, or healthcare system resources in a particular area.
Print materials also include occasional formatting or sizing changes, and occasional differences in the weight of the paper.
The following products, based on 2015 guidelines, are available now:
American Heart Association also plans to create IVE versions of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS®) course materials.
Note: American Heart Association is not releasing IVE versions of course DVDs. Instructors should use the U.S. English course DVD.
IVE editions may be purchased only by customers outside the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
International customers may choose to purchase standard U.S. English materials instead of IVE editions (and will need to use U.S. English course DVDs, as noted above). U.S. English materials will include U.S.-based information, such as:
