American Heart Association Core Instructor Course

Now instructor candidates can gain a firm foundation for teaching American Heart Association courses, regardless of their area of specialization, with the American Heart Association Core Instructor Course.

This course is a prerequisite for all new instructor candidates and for instructors adding another discipline to their teaching credentials. It is also a requirement for all American Heart Association national and regional faculty.

In addition to new instructor candidates and American Heart Association national and regional faculty, this course can be taken by current American Heart Association instructors who wish to enhance their teaching skills.

For optimal flexibility, the course can be delivered in three ways:

  • online (CEU credit available)
  • on a CD for self-directed learning
  • in a classroom
